Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrest 27 wanted individuals in 7-day period
Earlier this month, State Troopers arrested over two dozen individuals in a 7-day period.
According to Massachusetts State Police, for the week of September 1-7, 2023, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested 27 suspects who were wanted for various serious crimes, many of whom were actively trying to avoid capture.
The fugitives arrested were wanted on warrants for the following offenses: Rape; Armed Robbery; Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person under age 14; Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon; Assault and Battery on a Pregnant Victim; Assault and Battery on a Person over age 60; Breaking and Entering; Making Threats; and Firearm Violations.
MSP VFAS Troopers also executed six search warrants in furtherance of ongoing investigations.
A request for the names of the 27 suspects has gone unanswered as of this writing.
