Massachusetts State Police: One dead, two others rushed to the hospital after 4 vehicle crash on Route 24
Police are investigating after a crash involving multiple vehicles on a local highway this afternoon killed one and injured several people.
According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Troopers were on-scene at Route 24 Northbound in Berkley near Paddleford Street for a 4-vehicle crash.
3 victims were transported to area hospitals with potentially serious injuries.
According to Brandon Doherty of Massachusetts State Police, a 51-year-old Brockton man was transported to Morton Hospital, and was determined to be deceased.
The left two lanes were closed, and the lane closures impacted traffic in the area for an extended period.
Troopers on scene were assisted by Berkeley FD.
