Massachusetts State Police shut down highway in Taunton due to crash
Massachusetts State Police are reporting a serious injury crash this afternoon.
The crash occurred at Route 140 southbound at Route 79 in Taunton and came through dispatch before 2:30 p.m.
A Medical helicopter landed on the highway according to Massachusetts State Police.
All lanes in both northbound and southbound directions were closed. They have now been re-opened.
