Massachusetts State Police searching wetlands concerning disappearance of Harmony Montgomery
Officials are searching this morning for the body of a young child that was allegedly killed by her father.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, the Massachusetts State Police and Manchester, N.H., Police are searching wetlands along Route 107 in Revere (Lynn Marsh Road) in furtherance of the investigation into the disappearance, and presumed death, of Harmony Montgomery.
Harmony was five years old when she disappeared in 2019. She lived in New Hampshire.
Today’s search, which began shortly after 9:00 a.m., was prompted by information developed by investigators. The search is being conducted by 18 Troopers assigned to the Massachusetts State Police Special Emergency Response Team – a unit trained in search operations in difficult terrain and environments – along with four MSP K9 Unit teams, the MSP Drone Unit, members of the State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County, and members of the Manchester, N.H., Police Department.
Procopio stated that no further information is being released at this time and he will update once search operations have concluded.
