UPDATE: Massachusetts State Police searching for father who reportedly abducted son
UPDATE: According to Dave Procopio of MSP, Woburn Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle a few moments ago on Main Street at Kirby Street. Woburn Police have the suspect in custody and also have care of the child.

Salem Police and Massachusetts State Police are seeking to locate a male suspect who did not return his son to his Salem home from a pre-arranged visit yesterday evening.
According to Dave Procopio of MSP, the suspect is Anthony Lonano Sr., 40. He is white, approximately 6’2”, 170 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
The child is Anthony Lonano Jr., 11. He is approximately 4’10” and 77 lbs., with short brown hair and brown eyes.
The vehicle of interest is a green 2020 Toyota Camry with Massachusetts plate 3LFN51.
Anthony Lonano Sr has shared custody of the child but did not return him to his home as he was supposed to do at 7 PM yesterday.
Anthony Lonano Sr. has connections to North Andover and Clinton.
The incident is under review to determine if it meets the criteria for an AMBER Alert. As of this time an AMBER has not yet been activated.
Anyone who sees this vehicle, or Anthony Lonano Sr, or Anthony Lonano Jr. or anyone who has information about their whereabouts, should call 911 immediately.
