Massachusetts State Police respond to Route 24 crash with ejection, roadway closed for medflight
Massachusetts State Police have issued an update on a serious crash on Route 24.
According to Trooper Leah M. O’Connell, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Troopers along with West Bridgewater Fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover crash with ejection on Route 24 South at the 27.2 mile marker in West Bridgewater.
The operator sustained serious injuries, and the left and middle lanes are currently closed.
MADOT is on scene providing assistance with the lane closures.
Plymouth SPDU, Crime Scene Services, and CARS have been notified to respond.
At 11:30 a.m., both sides of Route 24 were shut down to allow for MedFlight to land.
At this time, the crash is still under investigation.
