Massachusetts State Police respond to nearly 400 crashes in 31 hour span
Massachusetts State Police left some good advice and some data to back it up as to why drivers should stay home during difficult conditions when possible.
The MSP gave a final recap on the winter storm last Thursday night and Friday.
For the 31 hours from 5 p.m. Thursday through 12 a.m. on Saturday, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to 388 crashes.
45 crashes resulted in injuries to motorists, with the remainder causing property damage of varying severity.
There was also at least one fatality.
Massachusetts State Police left some final words concerning the storm.
“All told, a busy stretch, and affirmation, for those who can, of why it’s a good idea to stay off the roads during an ice storm.”
