Massachusetts State Police respond to head-on wrong way crash on Route 24 in Fall River
Crews have responded to a head-on highway cash on Sunday evening in Fall River.
According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 8:45 p.m., cruisers from the State Police Dartmouth and Middleboro barracks were dispatched to a crash on Route 24 Southbound at Exit 8 in Fall River.
The initial investigation has determined that the motor vehicle was operating north in the southbound travel lanes.
Fall River personnel also responded to the scene.
Fall River Fire Dept. Rescue 1 stated that no extrications were needed.
The extent of injuries wasn’t immediately available.
