Massachusetts State Police respond to fatal crash on Route 24 in Fall River

Massachusetts State Police responded Tuesday morning to a fatal highway crash.

At just before 7:30 a.m. Troopers responded to Route 24 Southbound at mile marker 5 for a serious motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, crews located a driver trapped in the vehicle.

Massachusetts State Police have confirmed that the crash was fatal.

Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported that the right lane was closed while crews worked the scene.
