Massachusetts State Police respond to crash with life-threatening injuries on Route 24 in Berkley, Freetown
Massachusetts State Police are investigating a local highway crash that took place on Monday morning.
According to Trooper James DeAngelis, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Troopers assigned to the Middleboro Barracks responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash on Route 24 southbound in Berkley.
Troopers had difficulty locating the vehicle due to its final rest location well into the wood line off of the roadway. They eventually did locate the vehicle at the 12.8-mile marker (which appears to actually be in Freetown) and provided medical aid to the operator, who was transported to St Lukes Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
