Massachusetts State Police respond to crash on Route 140 that injured man

Massachusetts State Police and local crews responded Monday morning to a highway crash with injuries.

According to Trooper Brandon Doherty from Massachusetts State Police Office of Media Relations, at 6:38 a.m., Troopers responded to the 1.9-mile marker of Route 140 North, in New Bedford for a single-vehicle rollover crash.

Upon arrival, Troopers found the operator, the sole occupant, trapped inside the vehicle.

The man was extricated and transported to a nearby hospital.

New Bedford personnel also responded to the scene.

Troopers cleared the scene at 7:32 a.m.
