Massachusetts State Police rescue swan in the middle of Route 195
Massachusetts State Police made another animal rescue this past weekend.
According to Massachusetts State Police, over the weekend, after receiving multiple calls of a Swan in the roadway, Troopers Alex Kisla and Andrew Panacho responded to Route 195 in Fall River to investigate.
The Troopers arrived on scene and located the swan, then stopped all traffic to conduct the rescue.
The swan made several attempts to elude the Troopers, standing its ground in the center lane, but eventually cooperated and was placed inside a cruiser.
The Troopers were able to transport the swan to a safer location and smiled after being released!
The incident was one of several recent animal recues by Massachusetts State Police.
