Massachusetts State Police release name of victim in fatal crash on Route 195
A man has died after an early morning crash on Route 195.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, just before 12:15 a.m. today, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Route 195 west in Marion that resulted in a fatality.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota RAV4 SUV was being operated westbound when, as it approached the Route 105 overpass, it drifted off the left side of the road into the grass median and struck a concrete support section of the overpass.
The driver, 28-year-old William Gronblom, was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he was pronounced deceased.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Troopers from the State Police-Bourne Barracks, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Crime Scene Services Section
