According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash in Attleboro that resulted in a fatality.
The crash occurred on Route 295 north just prior to the interchange with Interstate 95 and involved a 2007 Mack 600 truck pulling a trailer and a car. The tractor-trailer is owned by Demoulas Supermarkets and was being operated by a 44-year-old Lowell man.
The driver of the car suffered fatal injuries; the victim was determined to be deceased at the scene. Procopio stated that victim information is not being released at this time as next-kin-notification is ongoing.
