Massachusetts State Police, Raynham Fire respond to vehicle under guardrail on Route 24
RAYNHAM — Chief Bryan LaCivita reports that the Raynham Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., Raynham Fire responded to Route 24 southbound at the interchange of Route 144 for a single motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, crews observed a vehicle under the guardrail near the on-ramp, with the driver and sole occupant trapped inside.

Raynham Fire was able to safely extract the driver in approximately 15 minutes.
The driver was transported to an area hospital via medical helicopter.
“I want to recognize our firefighters for their diligent work throughout this call,” said Captain Jeffrey Kelleher. “It was a great job by everyone involved.”
Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene and are investigating.
