Massachusetts State Police, local police, seize cocaine, crack-cocaine, 1,000s of fake pills, enough fentanyl to kill 1.5 million people

A multi-year investigation involving several entities has resulted in the seizure of an array of drugs.

According to DEA New England, the Cape Cod Resident Office has conducted a two-year investigation which resulted in the seizure of cocaine, crack-cocaine, fentanyl and thousands of fake fentanyl and meth pills.

According to Kingston Police, this lengthy investigation involved countless hours of work, quietly in the dark, from detectives at KPD.

Most notably, over 3 kilograms of suspected fentanyl was seized. According to the DEA, that’s enough fentanyl to kill over 1.5 million people.

No word yet on what arrests were made in the operation.

This was a joint investigation with the Massachusetts State Police, Plymouth Police Department, Middleborough Police Department, Rochester Police Department, MA, Duxbury and Kingston Police.
