Massachusetts State Police, local fire and EMS respond to 4 vehicle Bristol County highway crash

Massachusetts State Police and local fire and EMS responded to a multi-vehicle collision with multiple injuries on Sunday morning.

A call came into dispatch just after 1:30 a.m. for a 6-car crash on Interstate 95 South in the area of mile marker 10.2 in Mansfield.

According to the Mansfield Firefighter union, on arrival, Mansfield Engine 32 found 4 vehicles involved including one vehicle rolled over into the woods.

Two North Attleboro engines, two Foxboro ambulances, two North Attleborough ambulances, a Plainville ambulance, and an Attleboro ambulance also responded in addition to Mansfield.

The patient in the rolled over vehicle was extricated and transported to Rhode Island trauma center. A total of 5 patients were transported.

The crash is under investigation.
