Massachusetts State Police, local crews respond to multi-vehicle collision on Route 24

Massachusetts State Police and local personnel responded to a multi-vehicle highway crash on Monday.

At approximately 10:00 a.m., a call came in concerning Route 24 northbound in Brockton between Route 123 and Route 27 for a three-vehicle accident.

Multiple crews were called to the scene and at least one person was transported to an area hospital.

The two left travel lanes were closed at the time of the crash causing a traffic backup.

The crash is under investigation.
