Massachusetts State Police lay trooper to rest who died suddenly
Today, the Massachusetts State Police laid to rest a fellow trooper.
56-year-old Trooper Chester E. Adams of Whitman, formerly of Weymouth, died unexpectedly at home.
According to an obituary, “Massachusetts State Trooper and member of the 79th RTT Chester proudly served the Commonwealth for over 18 years. He was a dedicated and well-respected member of the department known for his tireless work ethic.”
Adams was also a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, roller skating and relaxing at home.
A cause of death was not released.
