Massachusetts State Police investigating fiery crash on Route 495 that injured 1
A person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a fiery collision.
According to Trooper James DeAngelis, Massachusetts State Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Route 495 Northbound at Exit 58 in Hopkinton at just after 12:45 p.m.
The 2009 Honda Accord, operated by a 39-year-old woman from Plainville, caught fire after the crash.
The operator was injured and transported to an area hospital via EMS.
The vehicle was towed from the wood line to the side of the roadway after Hopkinton Fire Department extinguished the flames.
The scene cleared at 2:30 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
