Massachusetts State Police investigating fatal crash in Freetown
Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Freetown.
According to Dave Procopio of MSP, at 7:28 a.m. today, Jan. 7, 2022, Troopers from the State Police-Dartmouth Barracks responded to calls for a vehicle off the road and into a tree on Route 140 north in Freetown.
Freetown EMS determined the operator, an adult male, to be deceased at the scene.
MSP Collision Reconstruction and Crime Scene Services are assisting in the investigation.
Preliminary investigation suggests excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
No lanes are closed.
