Massachusetts State Police investigating after finding dead body off of Route 95
Authorities are investigating after a body was found near a Massachusetts highway on Friday.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, just before 10:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police Troopers and Weston Police and EMS responded to a wooded area adjacent to Route 95 south in Weston after the body of a deceased person was found.
Procopio stated that the area in question may be the site of past encampment used by homeless persons.
The investigation into the unattended death is underway.
The right lane and breakdown lane of Route 95 south in the area of the discovery are closed.
No further information was available as of late Friday morning.
