Massachusetts State Police identity 22-year-old man killed in multi-vehicle highway collision

Massachusetts State Police have released the identity of the victim in Wednesday morning’s fatal highway crash.

According to Sergeant Gregory Jones, at approximately 6:20 a.m. today Troopers from the Milton Barracks responded to a three-car crash on Interstate 95 South at mile marker 25 in Canton.

All but one lane of traffic was impacted.

Sadly, the lone occupant, and operator of a Toyota sedan did not survive his injuries.

The operator is 22-year-old Matthew McTiernan from Marshfield.

Troopers expressed their condolences to McTiernan’s family.

The crash is under investigation.
