Massachusetts State Police identify 20-year-old motorcycle rider killed in Dartmouth highway crash

Crews responded to a late-night motorcycle highway crash that turned fatal.

According to Trooper Luis Blanco of Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Troopers from the Dartmouth Barracks responded to a motorcycle crash on interstate 195 in the Town of Dartmouth. Dartmouth EMS was requested.

The operator of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries. The operator, identified as Pierre Hriz Age 20, of Taunton, was pronounced dead by Dartmouth EMS on scene.

State Police assets included Collison Analysis Reconstruction Section, State Police Detective Unit, and Crime Scene Service Section.

Mass DOT responded to assist with road closures of the left and middle lane.

The crash is under investigation.
