Massachusetts State Police, Fall River, Somerset crews respond to highway crash
Massachusetts State Police, Fall River, and Somerset personnel, responded to a crash on the Charles Braga Bridge Monday morning.
According to Trooper Leah M. O’Connell, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Troopers from the Dartmouth Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on I-195 West in Somerset at the 10.2 mile marker.
It appears the operator of the vehicle suffered a medical emergency causing the crash.
The vehicle crashed into the median and the operator was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Scanner transmissions reported CPR and cardiac arrest with an unresponsive party, however, that was not confirmed by Massachusetts State Police.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
