Massachusetts State Police, Fall River crews respond to highway crash with serious injuries, guardrail repairs underway

Massachusetts State Police and Fall River personnel responded to a serious highway crash on Wednesday.

According to Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 12:13 p.m. Troopers from the Dartmouth Barracks responded to Interstate 195 West at the exit 12/13 ramp for a two-car crash.

One occupant was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for serious injuries.

A portion of the guardrail is in the roadway, with repairs underway.

The collision is under investigation.
