Massachusetts State Police, Fall River crews, respond to crash with injuries on Route 24

Massachusetts State Police and Fall River personnel responded to a Saturday morning highway crash.

Just before 8:00 a.m. a call came into dispatch for a collision on Route 24 South at exit 7 (Route 79.

Upon arrival, crews found a female driver in stable condition and already out of the vehicle.

According to a witness, the young woman was conscious on the ground.

She was transported to an area hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
