Massachusetts State Police arrest Fall River, New Bedford men, seize 7 firearms, 7 kilos of drugs, $100,000 in cash
The Massachusetts State Police Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team dismantled a local drug trafficking organization.
According to Massachusetts State Police, in 2025, the CINRET South team initiated an investigation into an alleged drug trafficking operation that was distributing fentanyl and cocaine in several south coast communities.
On February 3rd, the CINRET South team executed search warrants at two residences in Fall River, one residence in New Bedford, five vehicles, and one landscaping trailer.
Members of the CINRET South unit seized seven firearms, including six handguns and one rifle, four high-capacity magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. In addition, approximately one kilogram of cocaine, three kilograms of fentanyl, and three kilograms of fentanyl were seized along with approximately $100,000 in cash.
Daryl Fennell of Fall River and Lincoln Green of New Bedford were both taken into custody following the search warrant execution, and will be facing numerous drug and firearms charges.
