Massachusetts State Police arrest driver with lifetime driver’s license suspension after crashing into family of 4 with children
Massachusetts State Police recently arrested a driver who injured a family after crashing into their vehicle.
According to the State Police Association of Massachusetts, Troopers from the Danvers Barracks, including a member of the 91st RTT on break-in with his Field Training Officers (FTO), responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-95 in Woburn, in the area of Washington Street.
After an investigation roadside, the driver of a Dodge sedan responsible for causing the crash, a 59-year-old Malden woman, whose name was not released, was placed under arrest for OUI and transported to the Danvers Barracks by the 91st RTT Trooper and his FTO.
The woman’s license status revealed several prior OUI convictions, which included a LIFETIME driver’s license ban.
She was charged with OUI Liquor (4th Offense), Operating After License Suspension (Subsequent Offense), Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Use Care in Stopping.
Fortunately, the family of four including two young children in the mini-van pictured did not sustain serious injuries.
