Massachusetts State Police add four fugitives to list of Most Wanted Sex Offenders

September 12, 2018–The Massachusetts State Police today added four fugitives to its list of Most Wanted Sex Offenders. Troopers from the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section are actively searching for these fugitives, all of whom have previously been convicted of violent crimes and have failed to abide by their requirements to register as Level 3 sex offenders. Any member of the public who sees or has information about them is urged to call the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section immediately at 1-800-527-8873 or to call 911.

The new additions to the MSP Most Wanted Sex Offenders list are as follows.

1.JUAN C. GONZALEZ, 57, classified as Level 3 Sex Offender by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board, wanted for four counts of failure to register as a sex offender as required by law. GONZALEZ was convicted of rape of a child with force in 1989 in connection with repeated sexual assaults of a child in Taunton, beginning when the child was 5 years old. GONZALEZ has additional convictions for masked armed robbery, unlawful carrying of a firearm, assault and battery, and making threats. He is Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes, 6’3” tall, weighs about 200 lbs., and has a tattoo on his upper right arm and scars on his left shoulder, back, abdomen, and hip. GONZALEZ has used numerous aliases in the past, including JUAN GONSALVES, WILLIE GONSALVES, ALEX GUERRERO, JUAN GONZALEZ IRIZARRY, AND JASON DIAZ. He has ties to Taunton, Boston, and New York.

2.MICHAEL J. JOSLIN, 54, classified as Level 3 Sex Offender by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board, currently in violation of his Lifetime Sex Offender Registration requirements in Massachusetts and also wanted by the Orange County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender. In 2006 JOSLIN was convicted of two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 for two sexual assaults on the same victim in Fitchburg. He has additional convictions for breaking and entering in the nighttime and larceny from a person. JOSLIN is white, 5’7” tall, weighs about 220 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his upper right arm, upper left arm, right arm, right forearm, and left forearm. Possibly homeless, JOSLIN has past ties to Fitchburg, Revere, Chelsea, Brockton, Boston, Worcester, and Orlando, Fla.

3.ROBERTO JIMENEZ JR., 35, classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board, currently in violation of his Lifetime Sex Offender Registration requirements and of his probation conditions stemming from a 2006 conviction. In that case, JIMENEZ was convicted of two counts of rape of a child under 16 and a single count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 in connection with an assault in Springfield. The victim in that case was a 12-year-old boy whom JIMENEZ met in an online chat room and persuaded the boy to meet him under the guise of playing video games. JIMENEZ is Hispanic, 5’8” tall, about 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He has used the aliases ROBERT JIMENEZ, “DILL,” AND “DEE.” JIMENEZ is a repeat member of the MSP’s Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, having been previously added to the list and captured in 2013 prior to violating his registration requirements again.

4.ANGELO M. ROSADO, 53, classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender by the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board, wanted for four counts of failure to register as a sex offender as required by law. ROSADO was convicted in 1991 of rape of a child under 16 with force, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and robbery, stemming from an incident in which he and his co-defendant dragged a girl under a bridge in Boston, struck her with a large object, and took turns raping her. Following his completion of a state prison sentence ROSADO has repeatedly violated his sex offender registration requirements. He has previous convictions for failure to register and an extensive criminal history in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. He is Hispanic, 5’5” tall, about 140 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos all over his body, including several teardrops under his left eye and a visible tattoo on the right side of his neck. He has used the alias ANGEL ROSADO and is possibly homeless.
