Massachusetts State Police: 25-year-old motorcycle rider killed in crash with tractor trailer
A motorcycle rider was killed early this morning after a crash with a tractor trailer.
According to Dave Procopio of Massachusetts State Police, just after 1:00 a.m., Massachusetts State Troopers and other emergency personnel responded to a crash involving a tractor-trailer unit and a motorcycle on Route 190 southbound in Lancaster (15.8 mile marker) that resulted in the fatality of the motorcycle operator. The motorcycle was operated by a 25-year-old male from Princeton.
The right travel lane was closed until approximately 06:20 a.m.. All emergency assets have since cleared.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Troop C of the Massachusetts State Police, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and the State Police Detective Unit for Worcester County.
