Massachusetts State Lottery instant game player beats the odds to win $1 million

We all know winning big on the lottery isn’t easy, but a recent player has beaten those odds.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, The 4Gold 50X Lottery Trust of Hingham has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Gold 50X” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Kevin Kilduff, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at Lili’s Market, 1286 Blue Hill Ave. in Mattapan. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Gold 50X has one $4,000,000 and two $1,000,000 winners remaining.
