Massachusetts State Lottery announces $1 million winner on scratch ticket at variety store

A recent trip to a Massachusetts variety store turned very lucrative recently with a big State Lottery win.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Greasy Wheel Trust – 2025 of Worcester has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.

The trust, represented by trustee Katherine Bagdis, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The winning ticket was purchased at JD’s Variety, 259 Franklin Rd. in Fitchburg. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$2,000,000 Diamond Cashword has four $2,000,000 and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
