Published

on

Authorities came to the rescue of some children Wednesday.

According to Massachusetts State Police, at about 9:30 p.m. last night, members of the MSP Air Wing, including Troopers Gregg Spooner, Kevin Kaupp, and Andrew Hamilton were called to assist the Plymouth Police Department and the Plymouth Fire-Rescue in the rescue of 5 juveniles from Bloody Pond in Plymouth.

The juveniles, none of whom could swim, jumped on a dock and began floating across the pond in the dark.

The MSP helicopter crew was able to hover overhead and shine the “night sun” on them until a rescue boat could pick them up.
