Police are investigating a disturbing post that has been circulating social media.
The post states as follows.
“This is not a drill. Social media is buzzing with notice of complete mayhem and anarchy coming Halloween weekend. The Purge of Providence is a collection of Antifa anarchist intent on complete destruction of the city including rioting, arson, animals sacrificed, and vicious acts of random violence.”

When we contacted Major David Lapatin of the Providence Police Department, he stated that “We are looking into it.”
