Massachusetts sees rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations Tuesday, 17 more dead
Massachusetts saw an increase in hospitalizations and deaths in Tuesday’s COVID-19 report.
Massachusetts has seen 165 more positive cases announced in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 107,221 with 17 more reported dead for a total of 8,231.
Massachusetts had seen 174 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
7,821 tests were performed, over 2,800 less than yesterday, to increase the overall total to 1,353,802. The amount of individuals tested is 1,052,369.
Hospitalizations have decreased in 60 of the last 72 days to 513 total despite today’s increase.

According to the CDC, as of July 21st, the total amount of cases in the country is 3,819,139 with 140,630 dead.
