Massachusetts sees big jump in COVID-19 cases, sets record for total tests in a day
Massachusetts has seen 2,151 more positive cases in the last 24 hours. An increase from the previous 24 hour period.
The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 18.941 with 70 more dead for a total of 503.
Massachusetts had seen 1,588 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.
There were 7,447 new tests conducted for a total of 94958.

Massachusetts residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine by current status up to April 7th, 2020
Total of individuals subject to quarantine: 13,027
Total of individuals who have completed monitoring (no longer in quarantine): 5,402
Total of individuals currently undergoing monitoring/under quarantine: 7,625
According to the CDC, as of April 9th, the total amount of cases in the country is 427,460 with 14,696 dead.
