Massachusetts police department issues warning after teen smashes vehicle after crossing into oncoming lane

A Massachusetts police department has issued a warning after a weekend crash caused severe damage.

According to police, early Sunday morning, a 19-year-old fell asleep, crossed into oncoming lane and struck a pole in Hingham.

Fortunately, he suffered non-life-threatening injuries and no one else was involved in the collision.

PD noted that drowsy driving can be just as dangerous as impairment from alcohol/drugs using the above photo as proof.
