Massachusetts police chief looking for public’s help after dog left abandoned, emaciated

Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath is looking for the public’s help if anyone recognizes this poor little pup.

Chief McGrath states that this dog was left abandoned at Joe’s Rock Conservation area on West Street (Route 121) sometime overnight or early this morning. All he had with him was a plastic bowl, licked clean by the time he was noticed.

Considering his emaciated condition, it looks like he’s been neglected for a while.

He’s with Animal Control now, getting love and attention.
