Massachusetts passes 4,000 deaths from COVID-19, over 15,600 more tests performed

Massachusetts has seen 1,824 more positive cases in the last 24 hours. A decrease from the previous 24 hour period.

The Massachusetts Department of Health statistics show a rise in total cases to 68,087 with 158 more reported dead for a total of 4,004.

Massachusetts had seen 1,952 more positive cases in the previous 24 hour period.

15,652 tests were performed, almost 6,300 more than the total released yesterday, to increase the overall total to 314,646.

According to the CDC, as of May 2nd, the total amount of cases in the country is 1,092,815 with 64,283 dead.
