Massachusetts Mart receives bonus after $1 million prize claimed on scratch ticket
A Massachusetts Mart has received a bonus after a $1 million prize was recently claimed on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, the VJR Investment Trust of Fall River has claimed a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “50X The Money” instant ticket game.
The trust, represented by trustee Joseph Silvia, opted to receive its prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).
The winning ticket was purchased at Supreme Mart located at 1012 Bedford St. in Fall River. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
