Massachusetts man’s comments after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize brings reminders of Kelly Clarkson; here is how he plans to spend the winnings

Comments from a Massachusetts man after his big State Lottery win brings memories of Kelly Clarkson’s first hit and rightfully so.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Thomas Pyle of Norwell has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” $50 instant ticket game.

Pyle chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans to take a trip and do some home renovations with his winnings. When asked about his win, Pyle said, “It’s absolutely awesome. You wait a lifetime for something like this!” 

He purchased his winning ticket at Myette’s Country Store, 1143 Broadway in Hanover. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$25,000,000 Mega Money has three $25,000,000, three $2,000,000 and eight $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
