Massachusetts man wins final $1 million prize in State Lottery instant game; here is what he plans to do with it

A Massachusetts man knows exactly what he is going to do with the cash after winning a big State Lottery prize on a scratch ticket

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, George Legrand of Lowell is the winner of the ninth and final $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Diamonds” instant ticket game. 

Legrand chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he plans on buying a piece of property with his winnings. 

He purchased his winning ticket at Nouria, 189 Chelmsford St. in Chelmsford. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
