Massachusetts man wins $1 million prize on scratch ticket while going out to lunch
What’s better than a free lunch? How about winning $1 million while out for lunch? A Massachusetts man did just that.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Kyle Perry won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X The Money” instant ticket game.
Perry, who is from East Bridgewater, won a ticket he purchased from a vending machine while having lunch at Harry’s Bar & Grille located at 407 W. Grove St. in Middleborough.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). The restaurant will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
