Massachusetts man will soon have some new digs after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize on instant game

A Massachusetts man plans on some new digs after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Edgar Cruz of Nantucket is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” $30 instant ticket game.

Cruz opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He said he wants to buy a house with the winnings.

He purchased his winning ticket at Winners Corner, 2302 Turnpike St. in North Andover. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$15,000,000 Colossal Millions has three $15,000,000 and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
