Massachusetts man turns trip to gas station into $1,000,000 win on scratch ticket

A trip to a gas station turned out to be very lucrative for a Massachusetts man as he hit big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Julio Perez of Nantucket is the winner of a $1million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$25,000,000 Mega Money” $50 instant ticket game.

He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

The ticket was purchased at Mid Island Fuel, 41 Sparks Ave. in Nantucket. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$25,000,000 Mega Money has three $25,000,000, three $2,000,000, and nine $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
