Massachusetts man turns small State Lottery win into $1 million prize; here is what he will do with the winnings

It takes some luck to win a big State Lottery prize. It takes even more luck to take a small win and turn it into a big win. That is exactly what a Massachusetts man did recently.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Jacinto Parducci Ramirez of Pittsfield has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” $10 instant ticket game.

Parducci Ramirez chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on purchasing a house with the winnings.  

He hit for $20 so he bought two $10 tickets, one of which was the big winner. 

He purchased his winning ticket at Big Y, 200 West St. in Pittsfield. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks has one $4,000,000 and three $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
