Massachusetts man tells State Lottery all of his plans after hitting $1 million prize
A Massachusetts man plans to keep busy with several projects after hitting big money.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Frank Toffoloni is the winner of a $1 million Mega Millions prize after the first five numbers on his Quic Pic ticket matched those selected in the multi-state game’s drawing held this month.
Toffoloni, who is from Plymouth, claimed his prize Wednesday, December 6 at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester, received a one-time payment of $1,000,000 (before taxes). He has a number of plans for his winnings, including buying a car, traveling, and doing some home projects.
He purchased his winning ticket at Long Ridge Wine & Spirits, 8 Purchase St. in Plymouth. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. in Atlanta, GA.
