Massachusetts man playing familiar numbers results in $500,000 win in State Lottery game

Many who play games in the Massachusetts State Lottery play familiar numbers, however, not all are as lucrative as it was for a Bay State man.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Carlos Parreira of Somerville recently won $500,000 playing MassCash.

Parreira played family birthdays 5 times at Highland Smoke Shop in Malden which resulted in the big win.

No word on how Parreira plans on spending the cash.
