A Massachusetts man already has a lot of plans after hitting some big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Leandro DeJesus of Marlborough is the winner of a $2 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” $10 instant ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). DeJesus said he plans on helping his family with the winnings and intends on investing and purchasing a home.
He purchased his winning ticket at Post Road Pantry Convenience, 21 Boston Post Road E. in Marlborough. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
